Trafikregler
Crosswalks, cycle crossings & cycle paths
- The following also count as pedestrians:
- People using wheelchairs.
- People on inline skates, roller skis, kick scooters, and similar.
- People walking a bicycle or moped without riding it.
- Signal-controlled crosswalk (traffic signal or police regulate it):
- Both drivers and pedestrians must follow the traffic signals.
- If a pedestrian has already stepped out correctly on green, you must let them finish crossing — even if you get a green light shortly after.

- Unsignalled crosswalk: you must yield to a pedestrian who is on it or about to step onto it.
- Footway (pavement): you may only cross it, and must yield to pedestrians walking there.
- Cycle passage (no raised section or give-way line for cars):
- Cyclists technically have to yield to you.
- You should still adjust your speed so no danger arises for cyclists on it.
- Cycle crossing (cykelöverfart): you must yield to cyclists and Class II moped riders who are on it or about to enter it.
- Cycle path:
- Yield to cyclists when crossing it, for example at a driveway.
- The rules for cyclists at cycle passages, cycle crossings and cycle paths also apply to riders of e-scooters.
